Don't become A 'Time nut' 

Managing your time effectively is different from becoming a time nut.  Focussing on your goals and priorities should not take away the fun of living.  Deadlines are important.  However, they are not the only important things.  While focussing and achieving your goals you should also learn how to relax and enjoy life. 

The motto of time management should be:"Be gracious with people but ruthless with time."  But don't become ruthless with people and gracious with time.  Understand your skill set and its limitation.  Weigh the pros and cons before accepting a task.  Think before you commit.  Do not have a very tight schedule in a day.  While planning for a week let there be a buffer.  If you feel that a task may take one hour, plan for an hour and 10 minutes.  Relax and sleep enough.  Rest when you feel tired.  Understand your priorities in terms of its importance and urgency.  Seek the help of others and offer your help.  Life is not becoming a compulsive clock-watcher.  Learn to enjoy life while at the same time achieving your goals.
